One named service
Keep the benefits portal, its owner and its reporting purpose together. A declared dependency describes the agency's understanding; it does not prove technical coverage.
Public-sector walkthrough
Golden Valley is a fictional agency reviewing its benefits service before a supplier renewal. This example explains the workflow with illustrative records. It is not a live customer workspace or an assessment result.
Step 1
The benefits portal depends on an application, a supplier and agency staff. The service owner identifies those dependencies, selects the relevant jurisdiction and records which requirements apply.
Keep the benefits portal, its owner and its reporting purpose together. A declared dependency describes the agency's understanding; it does not prove technical coverage.
Select the applicable reference package and preserve its edition. California, New York, Texas, Virginia and Washington references have explicit coverage limits.
Use an author to prepare records, an independent reviewer to approve them and a viewer for read-only review. Department access follows its own membership rules.
Step 2
In this example, a retest resolves one benefits API finding. A separate logging finding remains open. The supplier review and service decision still need their own evidence and approval.
Two observations require attention. Review each source, observation time and affected component, then assign the treatment work.
Retain the result for the exact check that changed. Keep the logging treatment open until its completion evidence has been reviewed.
Record the provider, subprocessors, relevant data use and outstanding conditions. Missing or stale evidence remains visible.
Step 3
Use the applicable requirements and current evidence to prepare a reporting draft. Resolve missing inputs, obtain independent review and retain the exact edition and export history.
Compare retained service briefings and show the precise retest outcome alongside work that remains outstanding.
Prepare a reviewed snapshot for named recipients. Choose the permitted fields and expiry; preserve the approval and replacement history.
Assign an owner and review date to the unresolved logging treatment. Keep the supplier renewal decision separate from a technical finding's status.
Reference coverage does not establish certification or agency approval. Generated documents require review, and this walkthrough makes no changes to an application.
